It's official!!! We've been waiting to make this announcement for so long, so here's the real deal:
804ork, the Richmond restaurant cookbook, available for presale now
804ork, the cookbook featuring Richmond’s most delicious culinary establishments, is slated to hit shelves in May. Publisher Blunt Objects is offering a pre-sale beginning March 27, 2014, for readers, cooks, and foodies alike to claim dibs on a copy before the limited run is sold out.
804ork contains 68 recipes from 24 RVA favorites, including Lemaire, The Roosevelt, Dutch & Co., Can Can, Stella’s, Millie’s, Proper Pie Co., Kuba Kuba, and many more. Both a coffee table book and a functioning cookbook, 804ork features beautiful shots from local photographers, profiles of restaurateurs and chefs, and recipes for small plates, entrees, desserts, and sundries. The book itself is hardcover, designed by RVA Type Map creator Carrie Fleck Walters, edited by Susan Howson, and written by Howson, Kate Bredimus and Chris Gatewood, with a foreword by Brandon Fox, food editor of Richmond Magazine.
Books will retail for $40 and can be purchased here now. Shipping will begin late April.
