804ork Vol. 2 is the product of a team of truly talented, dedicated, and collaborative contributors.
After working for four years in forensic photography, Christophile Konstas went back to grad school in 2004 to study documentary filmmaking. Having grown up in a Greek family, with both parents in the food business, she recognized the intrinsic connection between food and culture and desired to tell those stories in her filmmaking. After moving back to Richmond in 2009, she collaborated with Nicole Lang to make Pimento Cheese, Please! , their first production for their soon-to-be-formed company, Pared Pictures.
Christophile lives with her husband and two sons on the southside of the river and is the co-owner of local coffee shop Perk! Bon Air.
Christophile shot the photos for BOKA GRILL AND GROWLERS, THE CONTINENTAL WESTHAMPTON, CROAKER’S SPOT, SOUTHBOUND, TARRANT’S CAFÉ, & THE URBAN TAVERN
Molly has been a professional photographer for over 10 years, from the mountains of Aspen to the Virginia Piedmont. As the director of photography for two regional food publications that celebrated local and sustainable food and farmers, she is a two-time finalist for the American Society of Magazine Editors’ annual Best Cover award. Molly is known for her food and farm shoots, and has contributed to multiple cookbooks, which she finds amusing since she used to think pancakes came from a box.
She lives with her husband, a chef-turnedfarmer, in Sperryville, Virginia, where they raise pasture-based livestock on nearly 600 acres of leased land at Heritage Hollow Farms.
Molly shot the photos for THE DAILY KITCHEN AND BAR, GRAFFIATO RICHMOND, LUNCH. AND SUPPER!, PERLY’S RESTAURANT AND DELICATESSEN
In addition to being a photographer, Kieran is a lifelong musician and audio engineer. Educated at the Berklee College of Music, he spent years in famed New York and Miami recording studios before returning to Richmond to raise a family.
Kieran and his wife, Elissa, value the decidedly cosmopolitan bent of the city’s growth over the last decade or so, especially as pertains to the restaurant scene.
It’s a little harder to miss Manhattan with such a fine crop of culinary talent right here in Richmond.
Kieran recalls that he bought a Holga out of nowhere in 2006, and lucky for us, he’s been shooting ever since.
Kieran can be found at KIERANWAGNER.COM
Kieran shot the photos for DECO RISTORANTE, L’OPOSSUM, METZGERBAR & BUTCHERY, THE ROGUE GENTLEMEN, SAISON

Since then he has done a little bit of writing, a little bit of editing, and a lot of bit of help behind the scenes.
In his day job, Chris works with lots of startup companies, innovators, and intellectual property owners of all sizes at Threshold Counsel, the firm he started in 2010 after stints at large firms in D.C. and Richmond.

Carrie spends her time developing brands for clients as Carrie, Ink and developing products as Blunt Objects. It was when she enlisted the help of Chris Gatewood to set up her companies that he approached her with a potential collaboration. For an avid cookbook hoarder collector, his idea was too tempting to pass up—and 804ork was born.
When she’s not working, Carrie likes to spend as much time as possible with her husband Matt, their ragtag crew of animals, and an occasional 2.5 tons books at their home in the country.
A graduate of VCU’s School of the Arts, Laura worked as a designer and art director before leaving the advertising world to pursue her love of food. That led her first to Chicago, where she studied baking and pastry at the French Pastry School (and picked up an unnatural fondness for Malört, and then to New York, where she worked as an editor at Saveur magazine. Currently a freelance food and travel writer and photographer, she lives in Brooklyn, where she nurses an unhealthy obsession with biscuits.
